The creative possibilities for flat glass surfaces has just increased with the introduction of 3M Fasara Glass Decorative Films, a new concept in decorative window films. 3M Fasara Interior Design Decorative Window Films combine Far Eastern design traditions with 21st Century technology to offer innovative new ways to manage space. When applied to glass, Fasara films create a serene, etched-glass appearance, reminiscent of the rice paper partitions used in Japanese culture for centuries to divide interior spaces.
At a fraction of the cost of etched-glass, Fasara films are perfectly suited for interior glass partitions or the inside surface of windows. Available in several frosted glass film textures which can be die-cut for highly customizable designs, Fasara films can be used to create a more private atmosphere or a more dynamic aesthetic.
When used in accordance with 3M recommendations, the films carry a five-year warranty against cracking, creasing, peeling and delamination when the graphics are processed.
Incorporating a host of innovative features, 3M Fasara Glass Decorative Films have been specially developed to provide interior designers with an impressive choice of creative options for architecturally appealing glass decorations which can be tailored to meet individual customer requirements and preferences.
The films, which feature a clear pressure-sensitive adhesive and a transparent synthetic lining, can be applied wet or dry, on-site. Visual light transmission is from 52-82 per cent and their low glare surface blocks up to 99% of UV light, reducing fading on fabrics. Personal safety is enhanced through the films’ anti-shatter properties which minimize the danger of fractured or flying glass.
3M Fasara Glass Decorative Window Films are resistant to water, mild acids, alkalis and salts, and an anti-bacterial coating restricts finger marks which means less cleaning. Also, when required, they can be easily removed enabling design changes to be made.

Fasara Interior Design Films are installed by trained 3M professionals. Once applied, the films function as permanent solutions, but can easily be removed or repositioned as needs or styles change. Care is simple - films may be washed with common, non-abrasive cleaning solutions.
